The centre and its roads

Fleming Way and the roads around it

DVSA no longer publishes test routes, and they change. These are the kinds of road an Isleworth test is built from.

Fleming Way, Isleworth TW7

The centre is in the borough of Hounslow, close to the Great West Road. Tests start and finish here, so the first minutes take you from quieter streets out towards the main roads.

Gillette Corner and the Great West Road

The A4 at Syon Lane, which the London Cycling Campaign named the borough’s most dangerous junction for people on foot (2018–22 records). Busy signals, several lanes and pedestrians: take your time and check every direction.

Twickenham Road by West Middlesex Hospital

A busy road past the hospital with a box junction that has caught many drivers out, and ambulances coming and going. Only enter a yellow box when your exit is clear.
